Welcome to Christ the Life Lutheran in San Jose, California.

 

We are sometimes called “The Little Church on the Hill,” and “The Little Church with the Big Heart.” We are a congregation of the LCMS, the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

 

If you wonder about the “Missouri” part of our world-wide church, our Founding Fathers and Mothers and Children, who first came to America, settled in Perry County, Missouri, in 1839 - hence the historic reference to Missouri.

 

Whoever you are, wherever you come from, we invite you to “settle in” with us as we seek to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” [2 Peter 3:18]
